Workflows and browser resources
How workflows, profiles, proxies, and sessions fit together in Cykani.
Cykani brings workflow authoring and browser resources into the desktop workspace. This page describes how the product areas relate; it is not a programming or SDK guide.
Workflows
Use Workflows in the desktop app to create, organize, and run browser automation workflows. Start with a task you are authorized to perform, configure its required steps in the workflow builder, and review its results in the app.
Workflow controls and available node types may vary by app version and plan. The desktop app is the source of truth for the options available in your workspace.
Profiles
Use Profiles to organize browser identities and their configuration. Keep profiles clearly named, use separate profiles for unrelated work, and only store account state for accounts you are authorized to access.
Browser profiles may contain sensitive data such as cookies or signed-in sessions. Protect access to the device and workspace, and remove profile data when it is no longer needed.
Proxies
Use Proxies to manage connections used by browser workflows. Confirm that you have permission to use a proxy and that its provider allows your intended activity. Store proxy credentials only in the product's supported configuration fields; do not share them in screenshots, logs, or support messages.
Available proxy and session limits depend on the workspace plan. See Billing and usage.
Sessions and visibility
Use the session and observability areas to inspect activity available in your desktop workspace. Monitor, Observatory, Logger, and Audit help review operational state and records; they are not guarantees that every external site or workflow outcome will be detected or recorded.
Web portal boundary
The web portal currently shows account and workspace details, subscription information, and plan limits. Live desktop resource consumption is not yet synchronized as usage totals there.
